How Crypto Funding Works

As a company regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under the Financial Services Act 2007, Atomiq Markets is not licensed to directly hold or process virtual assets. In line with Sections 8, 9, and 11 of the Virtual Asset and Initial Token Offering Services Act 2021 (VAITOS Act):

Crypto deposits and withdrawals are processed exclusively through a licensed third-party Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP).

That provider converts your crypto to fiat currency before funds reach your Atomiq Markets account.

Your trading account is held and denominated in fiat currency only.

Atomiq Markets does not hold, safeguard, or control crypto assets or cryptographic keys on your behalf at any point. Doing so would require a separate Class R (Virtual Asset Custodian) license we do not hold.

Processing Times & Fees

As a regulated broker we aim to process withdrawal request within same day of request (provided received during working hours) with a max processing time, next 48-hours.

All stages of your withdrawals are being notified to you through our mailing services to ensure transparency.

After the processing on our end, it is on each of the providers’ internal controls on the actual timeframe that the money will land to your account.

Who Processes Your Payments

Payment processing for atomiqmarkets.com is facilitated by Frob Services Limited, a company incorporated in Cyprus, registration number HE469433, registered office at Archiepiskopou Makariou III, 228, Agios Pavlos, Floor 3, 3030 Limassol, Cyprus.

A designated payments/finance department internally has full access to all withdrawals request and according to the request all are being processed accordingly.

Common Questions

How long does it take for a deposit to reach my account?

with the exception of bank transfers, rest of the methods are usually same day transfers.

Is there a fee to deposit or withdraw?

No deposit fees are applied.

Do I need to verify my identity before withdrawing funds?

Yes. As a client of an FSC Mauritius-regulated entity, your identity must be verified (standard KYC) before any withdrawal is processed. This applies regardless of deposit method.

Can I withdraw to a different payment method than I deposited with?

Generally, no. Standard practice is to return withdrawals to the same method and, where applicable, the same account or card used to deposit. If you need funds sent to a different account, you can request this by contacting customer support.

Can I fund my account directly with cryptocurrency?

You can deposit using cryptocurrency, but it's converted to fiat currency by a licensed third-party VASP before it reaches your trading account. Atomiq Markets never holds or controls your crypto directly. See How Crypto Funding Works above for the full explanation.
